I love arbitrary (often poor) dancing, creating culinary masterpieces, doing nothing when I can, and music music music. I started this profile to see if my friends and I would be friends on o.k. cupid, and it's been entertaining. I have, however, discovered that there indeed ARE some reasonably interesting people in Montgomery...who new. I have always befriended guys because the ladies all seemed to resemble a horrible cliche, but maybe there's hope yet.

By day, it's dresses and high heels, but after work, it's jeans and boots. My two young granddaughters live with me, so life is rather hectic, but in a good way :) I have 2 horses, my older Thoroughbred mare and her 4-year old grandson, a Thoroughbred/Trakehner gelding. I enjoy my family, horses, my dogs/cat, being on the water (river or ocean), camping, and most outdoor activities. My name is Cody. I'm a computer programmer in the Air Force stationed at *wonderful* Gunter in Montgomery, AL. This wasn't where I expected to be sent for my first assignment, but i've come to the conclusion that I had no idea what to expect from the beginning, so I'm trying to make the most of it. Well... Here goes:

- I was born in New Hampshire and spent most of my life in Maine, with a 4 year stint next to Chicago.
- I want something new every few weeks. Currently I really want to go take an accelerated free fall class so i can start skydiving... I'm still not entirely sure of why, but I really REALLY want to do it.
- I value fitness and enjoy doing active things (example: last week I participated in a 5K run for Big Brothers/Big Sisters), but can spend days sitting around watching movies or playing games.

I live in Montgomery, but haven't been here long. I find that it's much tougher to meet interesting people in the "real world" than it is in college. I don't have much trouble talking to people on the internet, but I think it's much easier (quicker) to get to know someone face to face. I feel awkward when the person I'm talking to can't or won't hold up their end of the conversation. I love being around people with a good sense of humor.

Guess this is where I'm supposed to type up a bunch of stuff that noone is going to read or care about, lol. Well, incase you're actually interested: I love going out and having a good time.
