I just recently went to Cafe M (inside the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts) for the very first time. I was expecting basic sandwiches, but was so surprised at what they did have. The sandwiches were wonderful. The names of the sandwiches were really funny, such as Dirty Farm Boy. Even my toddler enjoyed eating there. The staff was so friendly, and service was fabulous!

The museum for fine arts has a great area for children. Lots of hands on things for them to do and explore and to help them find their creative side. However once you are out of that area...everything is hands OFF!! LOL We have had security guards follow us all the way through the museum. Which was fine because I certainly couldn't have afforded anything had it been broken! The Art work is great, but it really is intended for an older audience, so keep that in mind. I have been on field trips as well at the museum and the staff really does attempt to help teach and bring out the artist in the children that were there. I guess, the way I look at the Museum of Fine Arts....is as TWO separate museums. One that is really geared for smaller children, where they can explore and create and one where adults can truly take in beautiful artwork. It is hard to combine the two in one trip with the kids in tow and neither would be a long outing in and of itself. Oh and don't forget to bring bread
